A Couple of Out-takes!

I thought Id start this week off with a few of images from last week that I found hilarious! Sometimes the little spur of the moment catches are what make me smile the most! The first is one of my "helpers" from my Saturday afternoon session. The session was for my clients parents wedding anniversary, and had all the kids and grand kids together for a reunion of sorts. What a comedic family that I truly adored! The college boys were helping me carry all my "goods" and someone yelled "hey Jill, look behind you" as we were walking to the cars and this is what I found!! Oh how it made my day!!!!! Second is from one of my fav. clients family session at the gov. gardens. And my oh my is little miss "m" getting independent! We did get some great shots to, but spent the majority of the session trying to keep her in the picture! This shot seemed to sum it up perfectly! Lastly is during a session when we found a frog hopping along... What fun we had trying to catch him!!!

I'm also including some other favs from the week of Jun 9-14 to. I'm hoping to post later today with some teasers from my last weeks shoots!

Yes.. out of town again!

The kids and I took yet another trip to KC. With my grandpa's health not being the greatest, and my mom out of school for the summer, we headed to KC unexpectedly this weekend. This shouldn't cause any delay, as I always bring my computer and work while we are here, the only exception is those intending on picking up orders this week. I brought everything I had with my as of Sat. and shipped them out from here so you shouldn't experience any delay, even if you didn't chose to have your order shipped to you, I shipped anyway. This includes orders for: 2- luetkenotte orders, Geyer, Knicker, Lamb, M.Peters, M.Stokes. Orders that should arrive this week and get shipped out on Wed. include:Chapman, Stockman, Roling, Pinkerton, Rector, Holtmeyer, Welsch.

These pictures are from a session last week of my oldest daughters best friend and her sister. I wanted to include a few for you to see how they were coming Sarah. Your girls are precious, and I so enjoyed taking their pictures! They both have such an ageless, classic beauty! I'm so glad you finally took me up on my offer, as our family has had you in our thoughts and prayers over the last half year, and I'm so glad I could give you this gift of your two little angels. I hope you enjoy them!

A little slower pace...

We went with our neighbors down the road to visit Jamestown, which is her hometown. We kind of left with no real plan in mind, other than to just explore some places a little off the beaten path. We started in Jamestown, were we ran into her cousin heading to the bank, and the older girls went inside the local doll company to look around. We stayed outside with the little ones far away from all the breakable porcelain dolls! Then we headed off to visit a couple cemeteries, which some of her family was buried, and an old church and one room schoolhouse, which the kids were amused to find still had the double-seater outhouse still intact! We ended up eating lunch at the local diner in Prairie Home. It was such a fun day to just leave the hectic life behind and spend a day playing and exploring with the kiddos. Of course, as usual, I had my camera with me, one of my favorite things to photograph is things of a time past...

Beautiful day for a BBQ!

It doesn't seem possible another week has flown by! I'm quite sure that once you have children, the clock ticks much faster than before!

I'm putting a few teasers out there from some of last weeks sessions so you can have a little peek at your sessions. I also would like to thank all my gals from Capital Region for inviting me to your summer BBQ! It was such an awesome day for a pool party, I just wish I had been smart enough to wear something cooler! Oh well, at least the kids splashing in the pool kept a little bit cooler! I'm posting a bunch of pictures for you guys, it was so fun getting to see all your families at play, and I cant wait to finish working on the pictures! Thanks again for having me and thanks all your support and referrals! You guys are a wonderful group of women and make such a fantastic team!
