Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to all! Just wanted to post some sneak peeks for a couple of sessions before I get involved in all the family stuff over the Easter weekend and don't get it done! First, a couple of little boys. The little guys was as full of energy as the energizer bunny, but it was fun trying to keep up with him to get the shots!! In effort to keep him still I had big brother pick him up by his ankles, and the look on his face was priceless to mom and dad, as if saying "seriously, I get to hold him upside down?!?!?" The resulting picture was one of my favorites!!!

Then a few from a maternity session. Mom is pregnant with #3. Little Miss "T" was not so in the mood to hop in the pictures with the belly, but big sister was. Cant wait to meet the new little guy or gal in a few weeks!!!!

Everyone have a fun and safe holiday!

Ames & Beans

Ames & Beans is "the little stationary shop in the woods". I spent time out there doing a shoot for owner/creator the fabulous Julie Maason. If you haven't heard of Julie, she has an incredible line of custom stationary. Everything from wedding invitations, business cards, thank you cards, to wrapping paper. Julie has a creative flair that really shows through her work, so I was thrilled when she asked me to do some shots of her and her product for her website/blog and adds. I have been doing more and more commercial work which I am absolutely in love with. Its so fun to try to create a "feeling" or "mood" that a client is going for through pictures.

Two Year Olds

Sneak peaks for a couple of two year olds. Two year olds are always the most work. They usually are just finding their independence and don't want to perform on command. Usually if they are going to do it, it has to be their idea. But when you can get them to open up they usually are some of the best photos ever. These two both gave me a run for my money.... but I always have loved a challenge!
